Can't go wrong with Mission speakers if the price was right. The English sure know how to make great stereo gear.

Sure it's not 761? I've never heard of 7621's before.

If they are 761's, it's a fine pair of speakers you have there. Lots of punch but a tad on the bright side. Mission do indeed make some good stuff.

Edit: Didn't see your post - $20? That's an absolute steal. Go and get those before someone else beats you to it!

How much? $20? Why are you here and not getting them!

Those are VERY nice British monitors, certainly the equal of similar KEF speakers.

I have a pair, and the 763i (extended cabinet for better bass and elevation w/o stands) and the small 760i.

Yes, I like Missions.

I have only owned & heard one pair of Missions, and they are a wonderful sounding speaker, one of my favs, and are on my "Keeper" list.

Mine are Mission 750LE's, only 3000 pairs were made for their 20 anniversary, and were available in Rosewood veneer, and black Ash as well. Mine are done in the Rosewood veneer. Much thanks to AK member 88gibson for sending these my way!

They are currently doing bedroom system duty, with a Sansui AU/TU 7500 combo. Sound oh so sweet on jazz and classical, mostly what I chill out with in the bedroom. Haven't really tried them out on anything heavier than that, or at higher listening levels, but I suspect that they wiil hold up very well to a little bit of rock n' roll at higher volume.

Looking forward to hearing some different Mission models in the future!

Heres pics.I have the grills too but didnt leave them on for the pictures. They sound very detailed for there age ,not as much bass as my A200XT's but I could live with that. The matching stands are still in the trunk these will probably end up in our bedroom .

Nice. :thmbsp: For $20 that's a great buy.

The "i" version had those better spun polyester cones, which are stiffer compared with the ordinary paper ones.

drive these things with 10 watts and the bass comes alive in ultra linear in triode with 10 watts bass somwhat subdude but still present. over all I am impressed with them.
