Misson speakers with stands at the thrift!

That's an 8". 6" bass drivers are for "mini" speakers... like my 760i.

The 762i is essentially the last version of Mission's original 700 speaker module, which had the bass driver on top, the HF is the middle, and the port on the bottom. I've got a pair of those, too (purchased new in 1982).

This is correct remember they are british .I'm really starting to love these damed things I'm going to make them my main speakers.They are starting to do some very amazing things with proper placement.

i have a pair of 762 and enjoy them alot. using them in my HT right now.

i picked mine up for 10$ at a yard sale, but had to have them refoamed which cost me 40$

good sounding speakers, especially for 20$

I'm a big fan of the Mission sound. The 7 series seems to be well respected.

I took off the crossover to have a look inside there are 2 one very small and one medium size 6.8 uf cap both are a metalic blue and not very impressive so I'm going to order 4 Solon 6.8 caps and open things up a little more .
