Mlb 2013

It's a shame there is no telecast of today's game, I've come to look forward to watching their games this year.

Yes, I'm too...they did win another close one today, 2-1...would have been nice to see. De La Rosa went seven innings:thmbsp:.

They're at home for the next two with Houston and three against the Dodgers. All should be televised.

I think the weekday day games are the ones no one wants to put on TV and take away from their daytime revenue producing programing. That said, there are a few day games listed to be on MLBN in late June. They are at the Nationals and Red Sox:smoke:. Preston

Man, the Rockies are really laying an egg against the lowly Astros again tonight. They played it tight till the late innings, then fell asleep at the wheel. This after playing both the Giants and D'backs pretty well in the preceding two series. Weird.

Who knows what evil lurks in the dugouts of Coors Field:D. Preston

Looks like rain may take a toll on tonights game in St. Louis. It is pouring here. Flash Flood Warnings everywhere. Ain't a fit night out for man nor beast.

O's take "Battle of the Beltway" with an unexpected pitching gem from Freddy Garcia. Johnson's second save in two nights so hopefully he is back on track.

Now its time to match our bats (5 starters hitting over 300.) against Detroit pitching.......

Yeah, Boggs is really struggling. I was surprised when they brought him back up after such a short stint in AAA to get himself straightened out. He needs to be sent back down until they are sure he is ready. It's not like we don't have any pitching.

Wacha did a great job in his Major League debut. 7 innings giving up 2 hits and 1 run. Wacha is the 5th pitcher brought up from the minors this year. All have pitched very well. Things look very positive so far for the Cards. Time will tell.

Giants coming to town.

Atleast Leyland is showing the buccos some love

“They’re very legitimate,” Leyland said of the team he used to run. “They have one of the best bullpens we’ve seen. Starling Marte is key for them. If he’s really good, him and (Andrew) McCutchen give them speed and nice balance in their lineup.”

Yep, the Nat's are struggling - now down to .500. The game two nights ago was crazy, home runs flying everywhere. Maybe the Nat's will come back to life when all their injured players come back.

O's win with a 3-run walk off HR against Valverde........:banana:
Second HR of the inning off the Detroit closer.....

I noticed Dani California is Descalso's walk-up music...so I put this on to root them on. 3-0 in the 4th...

Well...my choice of music helped the Cards win game 2 of the Double Header, 7-1.

Waino and Miller both pitched great games, and the offense turned up for the games, too.

They are playing great baseball right now. Pitching, hitting, fielding, they are doing them all at a high level. Let's hope it continues.

Rockies won in the tenth yesterday...Friday night they lost in ten. Today's the rubber game with the Dodgers. Tied with SF for 2nd place in NL West. Go Rockies, still above .500, still need pitching:D. Preston

Rockies snatched victory from the jaws of defeat tonight...lost last night. Tomorrow is the rubber game with the Reds. Go Rockies!

Hanging with the 'bigs'...SF leads Blue Jays 2-1 top of third, D'Backs and Cards tied 6-6, bottom of the eighth. Preston

Very timely homer by Tulowitski in the late going, good stuff. The Reds are a serious contender this year, and that makes it a really good win. Taking the series from them would be big. I hope the Roy Oswalt experiment works out and he comes to Denver and has an impact.
