Anybody noticing that the live video from the Detroit game looks like it's dropping every other frame or something? Really weird, choppy effect that isn't present during the commercials, so I'm presuming it's not the network feed but the feed from the game.
Mainly on the angles of hits going into the outfield.

We turn off the audio and listen the the Tigers radio broadcast on a local affiliate and it's almost dead on time with the video. It had several dead-air and distortion problems tonight but that's not unusual for this lousy station. Last weekend they forgot to switch over to the game until the second inning.:sigh:
After waiting 150+ innings to get lucky, and who doesn't like getting lucky, Mattingly finally got some homers from his team.
However, during that homerless stretch the Dodgers outpitched and actually outhit the Cards could have just as easily been the team in the catbird seat.
During that time I counted multiple occasions where run and hit/hit and run, sacrifice bunts, steals and even a squeeze or two could have been implemented and all those killer double plays avoided.
Mattingly has to learn how to be more tactically aggressive when his players are struggling to score runs otherwise he'll always be 2nd rate or on the other hand very luckyIMO.
You listen to Jim Price on purpose? Wow.![]()
