MX110Z Phono Stage Capacitance Spec

Anyone know what the factory pf is for the MX110Z Phono Stage? :D

The only spec I can find is 3mv @ 47K, but nothing on capacitance.

I'm guessing ~100pf?

Well, I doubt there was much interest in that level of detail back in the early 60s. Most turntables' interwiring pretty much swamped out the capacitance, I suspect. That is, the majority of the tone arm wiring capacitance was found in the turntable's wiring and not in the internals of the MX-110.

Taking a look at the schematic, there are no specific caps wired across the Phono 1 or 2 terminals so about the only thing to be dealt with would be the capacitance of the wiring from the Phono inputs to the Input Selector switch and on to the phono preamp circuitry. That's not going to be much for sure!

Hope that helps.

Cheers,

David
