Hey everyone! Just wanted to start a thread for this technics SL-Q6. I have it all cleaned up and will be testing it out in the next day or two!

the ground cable was not stored with the turntable, so I took off the bottom and soldered a wire directly to the connector. I plugged everything in and it turns on, but that’s about it. The LED for the cueing lights up, but none of the buttons work. I tried removing the circuit board that deals with the buttons and controls, but man they made it hard to remove. Tons of harnesses and some of them do not disconnect easily. Hoping to get it disconnected today and figure out where the issue lies.
I had a record and mat on it when I tried it but still nothing
