You've got some nice local stores to choose from, enjoy that, because in a lot of the world, we've got to travel a ways to hit the stores that carry records, much less find a nice, well stocked store.
BTW, I apologize for the idiots of my generation calling our chosen format 'vinyls'. It's like nails on a chalkboard IMO, wish they would come around to vinyl LP's or records.

Nice video, and some really cool stores. Now I'm going to have look up that Bruce Springsteen that they panned by.
Cool there was no mention of surface noise or dirty records being a desirable quality for a listening experience.

SORRY ABOUT THE LINK FOUL UP, my wife did it..she doesn't know what she did ....., WRONG???!!! Hey, Music Merchant is an:thmbsp: advertiser now, you see him at the top, it's fun to see. contact John he's real helpful and reasonable AND IF HE SAY"S VG+ that's what it is , etc. IRV has a TONNNNNN of records and cd's cassettes, 8 tracks etc. A LOT of kool stuff and he has a 'BAY site irv55, EZ2collect RECORDSCD"S MEMORABILIA it is worth the effort I promise you that!!!!

My bro in law from England has always called them vinyls and he 57. When his older brother came to visit he wanted me to take him to the vinyls store. I don't get why it is such a big deal, people all over the world call them something different. I call them records myself.

I went down to Omega Music, the only record store left in Dayton, and they had a big party going, with live bands and TV coverage. I left with a mint copy of the Eagles "One of These Nights" for $.88, and the next day several people told me they saw me in the background on TV.

Here in ATL there wasnt much going on at my favorite store, Fantasyland Records. Didnt even bother going further into the city to see the other stores since Fantasyland is the best. It was the normal customers and they had some of the new releases. This years new releases for RSD sucked. I ended up buying all used and spent about $100. That should keep the lights on in there for another month.
