My X-202 pics

I love this Fisher. I have the 500B which I thought was great,but the X-202 sings.Here are a couple of pics of both.

I think the X-202 is one of, if not THE best integrated amplifier that Fisher ever made. Mine gets regular use, although it hardly looks as nice as yours does. The sound is simply so engaging.

Question: I see your 500B is set to receive FM Stereo MPX, and your volume control is set to "1" on the dial. Do you find this to be a rather normal operating position for the control? I have had a number of folks comment that the volume control -- when set to FM reception -- on this model (as well as their other vacuum tube stereo receivers) is just too hot, making the ease of setting low volume levels rather tedious and touchy. Do you find this to be true as well?

That's a beauty. That chassis is stunning! I love my X-100-3 and will someday add a Fisher receiver to the collection. Thanks for sharing.

It's been awhile since I play it. I'm not sure why it's set that way. I just know I like it,but there is something about the 202.

I have found that a few of my receivers are hotter volume when on FM stereo.
