These mystery speaker things are fun. I'll give a banana to the winner. I betcha no one gets this one. Guys in the Vancouver, BC area. Shuush!! They are a brand name speaker.

I'd bet money that is a utah driver no matter who put their name on it. It's just like mine but with a mag cap. oval openings, raised part of the basket for strength on the arms (I enhanced the photo and can see them on this one as well) and the wire connectors are all identical.

Its big, lots of drivers, a thermal cutout, tempted to say Cerwin Vega but it hasn't got the red surround, something in the American market I reckon not being American Idk.

Maybe it's the above brand, if not they might been flat pack kit speakers. Someone put them out on the street way past my block decades ago. I think all they need are new crossovers, but I'd like to get the schematic.

Right next to the Philips AD 0160 polycarbonate tweeter.

FWIW, these were probably marketed under multiple brand names, all of them being house brands and likely built by US Speaker Systems.

My guess would be they were aimed at the Pioneer CS-99 market hence the model 99 and similar aspect ratio.

These below are someone else's and a different model with same tweeters; maybe the same midrange. Drivers look to be in better shape than mine. They work okay but think the crossover is shot. My woofer doesn't have that Eminence logo.

Between you and Hodaka I found that Hodaka and I have the exact same speakers:

I have a pair of Creative Model 99's, and it took me a few years to figure out who made them. They are 15" four way floor speakers with a Philips tweeter, and the only clue to their origins was a cheap sticker on the back of the cabinet marked "MODEL 99," with some specs on it.
