I agree with all of your statements. However the sum of the parts may be worth something. Still can't figure out if the tweeters are cones or domes.

The tweeters should look like this,the very first dome tweeter by Philips:

These "Systems XX" were simply recommendations by Philips how to build hifi loudspeakers.They were never actually made by Philips,nor as kits or as ready-made as far as I know.

If your woofer is above the tweeter array, place those up on tall stands. If you can't stand the visual top-heaviness flip them over. They'll still sound better up on stands; basically you want the tweeters as close to perpendicular to the line from the center of the array to your ears as you can make it. Either raise or tilt them.

My Bozak Symphonies have 8 tweeters in a vertical array, mirrored, beside the 2 woofers & mid. Comb filtering if you sit too close. Too close can be 20-30 feet away :lol:
