Name that stereo!

In this abandoned mansion and in the 15th picture looks to be at least a receiver and two pairs of speakers. Anyone care to guess what they are?

Stereo looks like an 80s Soundesign or Sharp all-in-one or something like that. There's no way that is from the 70s. Speakers look like KLH maybe. Don't know what's to the right of the all-in-one; looks kind of like it has a slot, so VHS player possibly?

That 87? 4Runner is newer that the 70's.

Yeah, house was probably occupied til the mid 80's, probably by an old person, the all in one bought after the previous stereo took a dump.

As fro the 4runner, it could have been abandoned there by somebody else, but perhaps not.

there is a tv in a cupboard i guess its broken as a temp one on display . maybe was in wrong place . i dunno . nothing special i could find .

Why would somebody waste all that expensive property tax money for 40 years for places to sit and rot.

I used to have that same Sony table radio, it was a good one. Very sad to see that beautiful place falling apart like that!

The big speaker on the floor could be a Dynaco A50. The smaller I think could be University.

Looks like a place that had some style and elegance to it. Probably sits in a trust which continues to pay for the property taxes and has no one left managing it? For sure, it wouldn't be hard to find out what the legal situation is with it - start with the physical address, then do a property tax, county assessor, historical plot, title search, etc. At that point, it would be interesting to see if there are any physical or corporate owners of the property.

We used to have that little brown organ (the toy organ, not the big one in the hall) in the left of the pic with the snow on the floor, and I still have a Capitol accordion that's looks pretty similar to the one next to the organ.

There are a number of abandoned estates in Great Britain, some still with personal items and grand pianos, and at least one with a derelict Rolls-Royce in the garage.

It looks staged to me. None of the furniture is dusty, but the floors are. And with all the graffiti on the walls, wouldn't someone have made a mess of the place?
