I'm actually using Dave's revised values, but with components selected for availability. Dave's specified value for one of those resistors was 2.13M, which is not a thing you can get. I used a 2.0M in series with a 130k to get to the same place.
Same with those two capacitors in parallel. The 1100 in parallel with a 250 makes up the specified 1350pf with parts that can be gotten.
how you get there isn't too critical, just that the final value ends up right.
In that thread should be Mouser part numbers for the specific parts I used. Most of them were selected for small size too so the revised PEC isn't too bulky. I built the thing on perf board because that seemed easier and cleaner.
Saw the thread. Very interesting. Pretty sure Thorne used those same numbers/values and design.
I might want to try making some. Looking for tiny proto boards. Almost seems like I need to cut them down to get one that isn't bigger than needed. Or could simply cast the circuit in a block of epoxy to make it look clean.
