Nikko Owners--Show us your stuff!

I'm jealous of all your toys. All I have left is the EQ-950 Graphics Equalizer.
Hi Nikko user.. I have a Chance to buy an EQ950. I can't find much Information regarding this but I can see it has a microphone socket. Can you advise me if this works like the sansui se9 with motorized computer to analyze the noise or not ? Or it's just a basic mic socket ..I have an alpha 230 beta 30 just bought a gamma 30 and really tempted to get the eq950

Anyone heard of this one before?

Alpha 450. Recapped except for the HUGE filter caps. Nichicons and Silmics. Benched at 249 watts.

Completely and utterly overkill for my setup as even 7 watts is quite uncomfortable. The power and damping really focus the sound better than just a receiver though.

I also have the beta 30 pre and gamma 30 tuner. Haven't tried the tuner as I never really listen to radio. The beta 30 pre is fairly boring but I'd like to try upgrading the op-amps and recapping just to see what happens.

Currently using the Marantz 2240 as a pre with excellent results. None of the lamps are burnt out, the phone camera just makes it look that way.

An older picture of my first Nikko piece, the NR-819. The collection has expanded a lot since then, but no pictures there yet.

It's finally "done". I have a Gamma I and EQ-950 that I might want to put in here as replacements though...
