Nikko Owners--Show us your stuff!

This is my Nikko FAM-800, partnered with a Kenwood KA-701. I replaced the incandescent dial backlighting with an LED strip. Worked beautifully!

Luuuv the blue dial...

Wow! That 1415 looks like a smoking hot monster. They must be very rare since Ive never seen one even on Epay.

I have a Nikko Beta 30, Alpha 440, Gamma 20 and EQ-1 combination. This is what it all looked like when I bought it. Lots of silver for 100 bucks! I like the Alpha 440 the best.

Picked up this 8085 a couple of months ago. I bought it to set up a system for my teenage son, going to pair it with a pair of Boston A40s. That is, as soon as I get done playing with it:thmbsp:

That is great you have the 440 in Silver, never saw it and never know they built it. Great rare stuff (at least to me). I can't believe the pirce.

My Nikko Collection

The VI and 650 lamps are in replacement mode so they weren't powered up.
Original system and some misc pcs (not under power at this time). Sorry photos aren't very good. Still trying to figure out the final configuration and then a new rack design to follow.

Nikko Systems

I'll have to get some pictures posted and edit this reply.

I have an Alpha II, Beta II, Gamma I, EQ-1 I purchased new in 1978. It is driving 4 Micro Acoustic FRM-1A's purchased at the same time.

Also, I have a Nikko NR-1015. Great 85 wpc receiver. Would love to have the NR-1415.

HI
I have just been given an EQ-1. I have tried in vain to set it up with a few different amps/receivers. Could be I have set it up right and it does not work.
The only other EQ I have had was a an ADC sound shaper, and that was a while ago. Can someone enlighten me on the connections, and/or a scan of the connections diagram. I will probably test with a Technics Su-8055 integrated, or a Sansui 2000. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I will post mine tonight (sorry I am at work) :D I have:

Nikko Alpha-220
Nikko Beta-20
Nikko Gamma-20
Nikko Eq-20

I replaced the speaker connectors on mine with 5-way binding posts from Dayton. Currently have mine packed away! Does anyone have any analog power amps like the Alpha-II or better yet the one I am searching for the Alpha-650?

I really feel these are truly under the radar vintage gear!

Yank
