I was pulling for Ryan Adams for Best Rock Song. Paramore?

:tears: He was robbed...

[petes'picks]

Even the performances I was not looking forward to hearing have been much better than I expected. Seems to be the grammys new MO to have a new artist paired with a legend of old, guess it gives them a young and old audience.

[4-2-7]

It looks like Sam Smith grabed 4

[Redtide]

Hey! Bee Gees got a life time award. Right on.

[timofred]

"Tenacious D" won "Best Metal Album"? Oh Grammies

A parody act wins ???

[+48V]

Rosanne Cash sweeps 3 Americana statues. The River and the Thread is a notable and praiseworthy show. :thmbsp::scratch2:

[sigh] Maybe Keb Mo was too "bluesy" for the judges with his clearly better overall effort with Bluesamericana. ??

I guess Beyonce has found a new way to hide her lip syncing .

I guess that wasnt Beyonce, so who sang the song facing a wall?

[+48V]

Tom Jones still has a golden voice:yes:

That said, how in the Hell did Dave and Phil Alvin's Common Ground end up fighting him for the Best Blues Album trophy?

[chicks]

Lifetime achievement for Flaco Jimenez! Sweet.

I would of never known. The great ones I can tell after the first note or two who they are... Aretha, Ella, Lennox, , but this new crop of overproduced singers I cant hardly tell any of em apart.

[fropiler]

Big night for Tom Petty.

[Redtide]

Jeff Lynne's voice still sounds good.

? Thanks to Sam Smith?

Sound wise, I thought ELO was among the best of the night.

[fropiler]

Vocal wise, It would suck to have to follow Annie Lennox. And she took Hosier to church.

[fropiler]

? Thanks to Sam Smith?

Yeah, and I wonder if any pleasantries were exchanged between Sam Smith and Jeff Lynne.

I must be a couple of hours behind on the west coast. Annie Lennox just gave a great performance too.
