Nice 914 , I wish I could drive my toys but unfortunately a typhoon hit the country last wknd and the roads are full of debris and pot holes .

930

First Porsche I ever sold after getting into the car business at a Porsche-Audi-BMW store was a 914 back in 1976.

I sold Porsches for 19-years but my heart belongs to BMW. I have two of these, one was picked up on our honeymoon 34-years ago:

A few years ago one of my customers brought his Ferrari 330 to me for an oil change, He supplied the oil and filters, so I just charged him labor, The same as everyone else for an oil change, $25.00. He thought it was funny because it was the cheapest service in the life of the car (he had all the records from new). He never told me what he paid for it, But he did tell me it sold for $400,000 at one point in it's life.

The 3-series is too small but being lighter it handles better. But these are not bad at all.

Just got new Bridgestone Potenza tires ( the old tires were nearly 10 yrs w/ flat spots due to the car not being driven often ) for my Ferrari Mondial Cabriolet and drove it in the hi way , opened her up & let her sing near redline , feels sublime! What a difference new tires can make in driving performance & pleasure . Should have replaced them much earlier!
My BMW 635CSI also needs a new set of tires . Maybe by January...

good for you! I recently replaced Yokos on my 930 w/ Toyo Proxes. Finding 225 16s and 275 16s is getting harder and harder. Enjoy!

Thats why I was forced to go w/ the 17" BBS RS1 for my 930 the 16" tires size are quite limited specially the 245 / 40 -16 for the rear tires. Enjoy the new tires and drive the car as often as you can they said the new tires are good for 5 yrs at the most & they're performance suffer as they age & some safety issues also .

Nice cars here guys!

This is my 1984 BMW E24 M635CSi, partner in crime to chase the horizon whenever the need arises...

She was allowed to stretch her legs on Spa Francorchamps last May, that was fun! I'll drive her anywhere she will take me, even if that's the south of France or Italy.

Daily is a 1990 Mercedes-Benz W124 260E which has been around Europe as well. I love them both for what they are.

Very nice! Are you in Porsche Club of America (PCA)?

The 914 is on the short list of cars that I really want.

Best way to find one is to join your local PCA region and start asking around - a well kept 914 will be free of the rust issues that plague indifferent owners. Either that or seek out ones in rust free states.

One of my all-time favorites! Had a 1985 Euro version. The USA model is damaged by the regulated bumpers!

Absolutely, horrible what federalisation did to a lot of cars back then. Euro version also has 26 horses extra, less weight, hotter cam,...it's a blast to drive every time!

Here she is storming up Eau Rouge @ Francorchamps

Nice M635CSi you got there . For me the E24's are handsome cars , there are times I'm tempted to sell my Euro 635 CSi to get an Z3 M Roadster but when I see the 635 CSi parked in our garage I cant seem to have the heart to part w/ it.

Thanks! They sure are beauties, can't help but looking back over my shoulder every time I park her somewhere.

Do you have any pictures of your shark ?
