On Impulse I ordered a Boyuu Reisong A10 EL34, class A. Any experience? Add your opinion on it.

They always make the cut, when I downsize.
Frustrated. Since I placed order, seller has offered lots for sale with week plus delivery. Yet my order remains in limbo, unshipped, over two weeks after ordering. First in should be first out. Maybe they're stockpiling orders, while interest is hot.

To clarify, I have NOT been charged for the amp. Will pay when shipped. There is no fraud by seller.
I just think stock should go to first to those who have already ordered, before offered to potential buyers.

If it's shipping from China be aware that there are problems with actually getting stuff to and from the USA. All of the US airlines have stopped flying to this part of the world and stuff is backing up.
Even here in Hong Kong, which is actually rather safe from "the virus" all the US based carriers have stopped flying. I had some stuff on order from the US recently that was returned to the company I was dealing with after about a week as the freight company said that they couldn't make a timely delivery. Had to send it to a drop ship place who use FedEx. Lost about two weeks of lead time on a commission.

They said, started production after being shut down due virus. To ship DHL and should arrive in 1 or 2 weeks.
Like you say, this may be optimistic estimate.
With what's going on there, the amp is not that important.

Hopefully DHL has better luck getting stuff to the US than from it.
Recieved today, 4 days from Hong Kong. Double boxed, foam block suspended packing. Well packed.
Sounds nice, right out of box. With unknown tubes of Chinese brand? EL34 tubes have a symbol what looks a G with wavey line inside. Seller listed Dawn Swallow as brand, but I don't know if what I received.
Build quality from outside very nice. Looks close to my Rogues for workmanship, from outside. Heavy for small size at 26.5 lbs. Aluminium corner pillars and knobs. Chrome one piece formed deck/4 sides. Chrome bottom cover. Cage fits nicely with no rattle, with banana plug like spring pins.
Soviet NOS Voskhod rocket 6n2p and Tung-Sol EL34Bs are due in a day for rolling.

I've never owned any Klipsch high efficiency speakers. Don't know if they would suit my tastes for jazz. If I needed more volume. Don't need more speakers.

Congrats! It looks very solidly built. I've seen these on the China auction sites recently for $175.00 plus shipping, and shipping wasn't terrible.
This Amazon version had a couple upgrades. Transformer upgrade, point to point wiring upgrade and tube cage. From what I recall, China Hifi Audio shipping brought thier price close enough to Amazon price. I opted for Amazon 30 return option.
I haven't noticed any flaws to the finishes of the unit. Looks like a quality built unit. Especially at $360 price.
Underside is also chrome, and you don't see it.
Initially with just a couple hours on it, no remorse.
Not sure how long I'll wait to try the tubes I bought.
After three hours, I can keep hand on transformer. Only warm. Have not touched tubes. Cage above is only warm. I expected more heat. My Rogue Cronus Magnum puts out way more heat. Its transformer is much hotter.
Edit: Just noticed my CDP input has much more gain than my CCA streamed radio station.. Allows for much more headroom. So ADS speaker efficiency not so much of issue. Now dial is at 10 oclock for 60-70 dbs, at 5 feet.

Thank you for your feedback! greatly appreciated. I am going to experiment with tubes soon, and this unit might do the trick.
I've just now tube rolled some Soviet Voskhod Rocket 6n2p and Tungsol EL34b tubes into it. So will start break in over again. So I'm sure it will continue to sound better over next week or so.
Now this is just my second day with it. So still very early in honeymoon for final assessments.
I use a toslink switcher to multiply inputs available from two to four. Amp only has two RCA pairs with selector switch on back panel.
Tubes came with it were starting to smooth out. Many brands of el34 tubes available. The rectifier and pre tubes are not expensive. Seem to be available, although not in excess. 5z4 rectifier available under $10. Soviet 6n2p were $21 for matched pair.
I've read reviews saying,12ax7 MAY be an alternative to 6n2 if a socket wiring adaptor is used.
Reisong manufactures a range of different price point tube units. Not read much reviews on the other models.
No connection to Reisong or any of thier sellers.

Playing Patty Austin - For Ella (jazz vocals with band)About 15 hours on Rocket and Tungsol tubes.
Rich, warm, detailed vocals. Nice depth.
With CDP input it can play the 92db ADS very loud in my small room. Louder than I can take. At five feet and 10 oclock dial gives 75dbs. Louder than I listen.
Now my CCA streamer/ fiberoptic switcher/SMSL Sanskrit 6th dac must have much less gain. Takes much more turn of knob to get loud. Where I notice only 6 wpc.
Don't hear any hum or hiss with ear at speaker. Dead quiet between CD tracks.
It's TOO EARLY for critical review. Right now, might be able live with this amp for my small room listening. Lovely tone. If it gets better with more breakin, a plus. There may be a little distortion with the brass at volume. More listening to evaluate. Recording, amp or speaker?

Yesterday was thinking a little increased fuzz was showing up. This morning, decided to try a Tommy LiPuma and Johnny Mandel produced Diana Krall, When I Look in Your Eyes CD. Much better. Every time I heard some guitar fuzz, recording or amp?
As resolving as my Cronus Magnum? Don't think it will get there. It is much warmer. Rogues aren't known to be warm.
Trying to reserve judgement for break in. Maybe 35 hours on amp. And 20 on Tungsols and Soviet Rockets I rolled in.

A well recorded album, CD. Bluegrass. Lovely performance.
Sounds very nice. Rich, warm. With depth.
Not an ideal speaker placement, an understatement. One speaker in corner.

I've lost count of break-in hours. Maybe 50 on amp and 35 on Tungsol and rocket tubes.
It has definitely improved with hours.
IMO so far, I think because it's soft sounding amp, it's not so tolerant of so-so recordings. They sound too fuzzy. With better recordings and ADS it can sound rich with depth.
Just rolled a used RCA 5z4 rectifier (metal body) into it, replaceing original Chinese. Don't know if any sound changed.
Replayed above Allison Krause album, CD again. Fine recording. Amp is sounding very nice. Maybe it's partially the music genre, recordings, speaker match, tube choice. Female and harmony vocals sound amazing this evening. Unless, unforeseen mechanical issue shows up within Amazon return period, it's a keeper.
I did not give the original Chinese tubes but 15 hours. Not broke in. Will at some point retry them. Til then, enjoying rolled in tubes!!

I really enjoy this amp. Now maybe over 60 hours on it. It improved with break in. IMO, this and ADS speakers suited well for jazz.

I prefer VISUAL look of glass bulb of the original Chinese rectifier, but testing the metal casing RCA.
I do wonder if this could be suitable for some capacitor upgrades.
