This is the first time I'm hearing and reading about this clown a.k.a. 'Papi Chulo' (just that name alone is a red-flag to me!) and after checking the site and price's that mother-****ers crazy!
Check this out, he now perfers method of payment as either Money Order, Certified Check, Personal Check........NO PAYPAL! What an ass-hole! Buyer beware!

Every piece that had a view of the back shows that it is, indeed, 100VAC.

Some required zooming in, in PhotoShop, but the info was there. I guess that would hold up against a "Not as Described" claim. "I put in a picture that shows it's 100V. It's not my fault the buyer can't read."

I'd wager that if you lived on the same street, you wouldn't be able to view the component 'for sale', or pick-up with cash.

I informed Axel over at thevintageknob of this guy's resurfacing.

Axel had a look at the link to Audiogon and the 'vintage_sansui' listing. He replied to my post, that most of the pictures are lifted from recently completed auctions on the Yahoo Japan site. The rest were lifted from a Japanese seller who has a reputation for selling broken items.

Makes a lot of sense doesn't it.

I tend to keep a sharp eye out for this guy and that listing doesn't set the spidey sense a'tinglin' at all.

This looks like the Sansui AU-907 Limited ad that was posted on Audiogon a couple of months ago. His account was closed by Audiogon shortly after I had contacted him. He listed the integrated with the CD player at the time. I noticed the ebay ad also lists the integrated with the CD player, coincidence? The guy from Audiogon stated he was in Queens, NY. The ebay ad shows a location of Elmont, NY which is on the border of the Queens and Long Island. I'm pretty sure this is the same guy, too bad he has a bad rep. His userid was created 14-Apr-2013 and his ebay feedback is 12 positives in the past month and zero feedback beyond that, seems fishy to me. He could have used other accounts that he has to give himself positive feedback or sold some low ticket items to bump up the rating. I wonder what he would do with a local pickup? I'm guessing he would probably stop communication and close the ad after one says they want to do a local pick up.

Another thought....if you check his other ebay ads, why are the items photographed in different surroundings? Wouldn't most people setup a table and swap out the equipment as they are photographing them? If they were connected and in racks, I could see different surroundings, but these are disconnected gear.
