I hate it when the waitress comes back about every 5 minutes to ask you if everything is OK. Whenever they do this my mouth is usually full, so all I can do is nod my head!
.....bothers me a bit for a waitress to do that also, Will, ....I've got to where I usually just go ahead and say to the waitress up front, "hon, if you'll just check my tea glass sorta' regular, we'll get along just fine".....

.....I sometimes get waitresses who wait until I've been out of tea for 5-8-10 minutes using a clear glass, to come dragging up and ask me if I need more tea, with most of the food still on my plate....yes, insult to injury....they're hopeless....they've been known to wear their underwear on the outside.....

Such is life people and you better get use to it as it's been this way a long, long time already,at least most of my 64 yrs that is and it doesn't look like it's gonna change if ever!

.....oh yeah....I just look at the current economical situation, and hope those now working are giving their job all they've got....that's been the best way to advance now for a looooong time.....

My biggest one is when someone can obviously see what you're up to. Example: At work I'll be changing a tire or something blatantly obvious... someone walks up and says.. oh whatcha up to.. you changing a tire? Me: No dumb@$$ i'm splitting atoms.. what does it look like?

Second: When someone says that their crappy plastic stupid sound thingy form Wal-mart can put out 600 watts and "rattle the windows"

Sure.. whatever buddy.

The Borg Bluetooth ear implants.

At least show me enough respect that you don't answer that f*****g thing midstream through our conversation.

+1 !!!!!!!

And, no, I'm NOT impressed that you have one -- YA DORK! Put two of the damn things in and I still won't believe that you are that important. Impotent perhaps, but definitely not important!

I just purchased three items in the neighborhood grocery store a couple of hours ago and the cashier never said a word to me, or even looked at me during the entire transaction. The same cashier acted the same way the last time I was in there, except she finished her texting before ringing up my order.

I went to the Post Office last week and a lady was standing right in front of the entrance door. I was able to get in by leaving the sidewalk and going around her in the grass. After shipping my package I started out via the exit door, only to find she had moved and was now blocking the exit.

Fairly often, I will encounter pedestrians crossing the road in front of me, who will look at me waiting, and then visibly slow down. I can't understand what leads them to gamble that I enjoy life as a non hit and run driver more than they enjoy life. These are always young men who wear their pants in such a way that I see way more of their underpants than is decent.

Why are so few drivers aware of the rules of the four way stop? At least 75% my four way stop experiences involve someone going when it isn't their turn, often without ever having reached a full stop.

Why do drivers of full size pickups and SUVs feel the need to tailgate me when I am doing at least the speed limit in the slow lane? Often, I just move over to the left and let them pass me, then move back to the slow lane.

.....don't pet peeves hit us differently at times?....is that because of the frame-of-mind we're in, at the time?....my heart goes out to those who have listed 15 or 20 pet peeves :D.....

A woman ( on a cell phone) and I arrive at the deli counter at the same time. The clerk behind the counter looks out at both of us, offering his assistance and the woman loudmouth starts yelling at him for a pound of this, that yadda all the while gabbing into that phone. I could've fu&&king plummeted her.

Hanging around folks with a **** load of peeves,

Just kidding homeboyPig

This is cracking me up! keep'm coming!

I realized another one today. I really dislike when people call and don't leave a message/text. Do I need to call you back? Let me know, please.

Also, I dislike oxidized pots.

Don't touch me. Just that simple. Whenever anyone touches me it is just so irritating that I want to...lets leave it at that.

People (sales types, telemarketers etc) who call you on your phone, who you have Never met in your life, or even know, calling me right-off the bat by my first name..:wtf: It's like "excuse me, do I know you?????" I don't recall being on a first-name basis with some non-entity on the phone..A "Mr." would be polite, appropriate I believe, and then we "might" go on from there..

Here are a few from my top 100
Political, religious bumper stickers
Big ass redneck trucks with no mudflaps
People who have the swinging plastic balls hanging under their bumpers
People who hate others that spell bad
EBay
People that are afraid of young people
Young people
People that always have to "one up"
Soccer posers
Starbucks power moms
Starbucks
How everything must be "on sale"
Bed stores
"Going out of buisness" sales
Peole that don't take down their yard sale signs

I always encounter the pedestrians that don't even bother to look to see if you notice them.

They just walk right out in front of you thinking, "I have the right-a-way and you have to stop".

Granted I do, but my folks taught me to look both ways before crossing the street.

Something about a two ton vehicle that maybe the driver didn't notice me makes me want to look.

Here's another one.

You have an appointment to conduct business with someone. You arrive for your appointment and have to deal with a receptionist, secretary or some person that occupies the front desk or window. You tell them that you have an appointment or that Mr. Smith is expecting you.

They ask your name, and you tell them that you are Wilbur Jones. Now the person picks up the phone, calls Mr. Smith and says this : I have a Mr. Wilbur Jones here to see you.

I have A Mr. Wilbur Jones here? Have there been 15 other Mr. Wilbur Jones there earlier today? She doesn't have A Mr. Wilbur Jones, she has Mr. Wilbur Jones there.

This has happened to me several times and I have gotten to the point where I call them out on it. IMHO, it's rude and a sign of disrespect to me. I have lived long enough and gotten to the point where I just call them on it.

I remember walking in a town in Victoria (Oz) with a girlfriend. I went to stop at a crosswalk to make sure traffic was stopping. She pulled me into the intersection and told me I was just making the motorist wait longer. Guess that's another way to look at it.:scratch2:
