What do I have here? Supposedly a custom professional job in the seventies - I was told they are Philips drivers. Verrrrry heavy. Anyone recognize and have any thoughts?

Looks like Phillips to me. Don't like the driver layout though. Arranging the two mids and one tweeter vertically in a D'Appolito configuration would be better.

The midrange dome and tweeter drivers are absolutely from Philips but I'm not sure about the woofer as many Philips Woofers had Octagonal Frames Rather than conventional round frames like the woofer pictured. Those mids and tweeters are capable of very good sound quality but wide dispersion dome drivers can cause sound wave interference issues in close proximity to each other which is why most speaker manufacturers do not typically do that layout.

I believe those are all Philips drivers. I even found a woofer on Ebay that looks just like that one. So the only question is whether or not that is a home brew with Philips drivers or something made by Philips. I think they might be original Philips speakers. I feel like I have seen them somewhere before online...

One could always pull the woofer and see if it has Philips markings on the back.
