Pioneer CT-F1000 Find

I got this CT-F1000 and a cassette box with 120 tapes tonight for 100.00. Cassette is in good condition.

I have said it before and I will say it again. The CT-F1000 IMO is one of the prettiest decks ever built. Nice score and well worth what you spent but not nearly as good as the $5 I spent on mine.

Gorgeous deck. I agree with the others that that is one of the prettiest decks ever made, and it sounds sweet, too! A vintage treasure for sure. CONGRATULATIONS! :thmbsp:

I currently have at least 5 Pioneer cassette deck models (including the CT-F1000) and had no less than 7 or 8 other models that are now sold. The CT-F1000 is a superior deck, built tough and probably the only deck I have that doesn't obviously sound like a tape. I think this model really gets overlooked by the under informed buyer.

The "silver pioneer" website crowned the CT-F1250 as the "top water mark" which IMO is at least partly responsible for the high prices. The CT-F1250 is certainly a fine unit and pretty with the fluoroscan display. My biggest compliant with this unit would be the gray tab (which brakes easy) that holds the cassette.

IMO the CT-F1000 doesn't take a back seat to many (if any) other decks. Grads on your purchase! :thmbsp:
