My Pioneer PL-55DX has started returning before the needle reaches inner groove...I have a service manual that says to lube the return mechanism, but no details. Any advice on how to lube on this TT?

There is usually a small rubber plug or hole in the deck near the base of the tonearm into which you insert a screwdriver to adjust the auto return point. In fact there's usually two holes, one for auto return and one for the lead in point. The users manual is on vinylengine.com. It should be in there as it is a user adjustment--it's not considered a service issue. (My acrobat reader is on the fritz so I can't check it myself).

Thanks Howard - I will look when I get home, but there is no mention of that adjustment in the owners manual that I can see.
