R.I.P. Harry Dean Stanton

[pustelniakr]

He always presented as who he was portraying. He never stood out against the scenes he was in. This is simply good acting. We have been enriched by his presence and work in our world.

RIP, Sir....

Great character in Repo Man as Bud.
"An ordinary person spends his life avoiding tense situations. A repo man spends his life getting into tense situations."

"Look at 'em, ordinary *ucking people, I hate 'em."

[FONSguy]

Even his small role in Two and a Half Men was classic.

RIP Mr. Stanton.

The first time I really noticed him and became a fan was in the movie, Wild at Heart.. The scene that sticks out in my head is of him driving down the road and Van Morrison's Baby please don't go, is playing on the radio. That is one insane movie.

Goodbye, Mr. Stanton.

One of these days, I'll watch Paris, Texas, in your honor.

I always loved HDS, great character actor and fellow Kentucky native.

"The life of a Repo Man is always intense."

RIP Harry

Here's Harry singing and playing guitar in the movie "Cool Hand Luke".

Roger Ebert noted that “no movie featuring either Harry Dean Stanton or M. Emmet Walsh in a supporting role can be altogether bad.”

[slow_jazz]

Great supporting actor.

Great career.

RIP Harry....

I don't think there was a role that harry wouldn't do. He starred in everything from teenie movies all the way to film noir stuff. Very versatile. You will be missed!!!
