Without him, Rock and Roll would never exist. He was on the radio on WGN late at night with Steve King and Johnni Putman. Interesting stories he told about developing the electric guitar and the people he knew in his life. He will be missed.

I have this record, my one Les Paul. I picked it up at a garage sale for the cool cover and, well, it was Les Paul. I will give it a spin.

Just saw the sad news on the lunch room TV at work. They showed several clips of the master, but all I heard through the speaker was the news anchor droning on and on.

I would have preferred to hear Paul play a lick on his guitar or at least hear him speak during the story of his passing.

Oh well. He will be missed.
