Random Thoughts or Whatever

My '62 SG Special > Ross Compressor > REVV-G3 > Orange 60W head > 2-12 bottom is really smooth but loud.

Bring it over and we'll jam !

Modern country is neither modern, nor country.

I said it before and I'll say it again: New Country is where rock 'n' roll went to die.

Discuss.

Why did fall seem so much longer when I was a kid?

I seem to remember weeks of mild, 50's-degrees, dry weather days with crispy leaves blowing around.

Now it's like 75 degrees, then a wicked weather-changing thunderstorm comes through, then it's 28 degrees. It just jumps from summer straight to winter anymore.

How come the clairvoyant didn't know I was coming ?

Okay, then ... how about this:

I've been developing a theory that all the best rock music is written by bass players.

I wonder what kind of upgrades it would take to convert my record player into a turntable.

Well, of all the band members, they do have the most time on their hands. The women are all after the singer and "real" guitar players, lol.

Yuck on Miley.
…
Housewife? Not a good one. But let's just take a gander at the late Yvonne DeCarlo -

Sweet Jesus, what a hottie !!!!
...

I see that and raise you one Scarlett Johansson. She came to mind because I just saw the latest Black Widow movie…not bad as an Avenger movie spin off.

Why are Europe and Asia considered to be two different continents? Never understood that. I see no dividing line on the map, no ocean between them

It would be (lots) cheaper to "ship me" o'er to The States than the gear!

PS: Maybe we could do a "Zoom" thing... but it just wouldn't be the same, eh? Life in Corona Times.

[Beatnik]

I got stuff.

[highvoltage_]

If it's daylight saving in the summer, why don't we get some back in the winter?

You do, when you fall back you get an extra hour.

Queen, Another One Bites the Dust.

Gunpowder not much different from internal combustion, all about the noise. There's a dude here that stands by the road and shoots at his yard a lot with a big loud black rifle.

I have a pump pellet rifle that I can do the same, but silently.

[GChief]

That’s why I have all available

Queen, Another One Bites the Dust.

That was bass player humor.

Katya Orlova

Yes.
