I'm in California, so can't help with a Florida tech. I do ask, however, what it is you're needing help with. Here's why:
The more vintage Mac gear is a specialty and requires a rather extensive knowledge of what parts are no longer available and how that can be mitigated. The odds, however, of one of those kind of specialists being close to where you live is pretty remote. The specialists will be 1) busy so plan on standing in line, and 2) not close to you so plan on shipping your vintage Mac gear to them. Lastly, the good ones are busy so plan on standing in line for service. There's likely a reason why a tech says they're available right now.
If you've got new gear (made in the last 20 years or so), any of the Mac dealers still in business should be able to help. You'd likely get more replies, too, if you post in the McIntosh forum here at AK. Also, scroll down to the bottom of the page you're reading and contact some of those guys with banners there. Many of them will be the guys (like Terry DeWick or Audio Classics) you're looking for.

dshoaf's post right there should be a McIntosh related FAQ by itself. It explains the special needs of vintage McIntosh over 20 years old, and why those units need specialist McIntosh technicians versed in their repair. McIntosh Laboratory recommends Audio Classics and DeWick Repairs for classic McIntosh service. And I am very fortunate. I am less than an hour from Terry.
