Reed Relay needed.

Any advice for where to find a replacement for the Standex L101-2-12 as pictured would be appreciated!

You may have to retrofit one in there.

Maybe this would work. Scroll down to the dunco rr-2a. It's used.

Are you sure it's bad? Looks like a 12 volt, is there 12 on the coil when it's energized?
What is the coil resistance?

A retrofit did occur to me and I did run across that Dunco part while searching and sent them an email last night.

I'm in a bit over my head at this point and need to learn exactly what I've got in this part. Do you know the pin configuration in order to test this part?

@Scottwerks, I am not sure if the pin configuration on these relays is standard.

It looks like from your pic that there is a diode across two pins. That would be the coil and matches one I have here.

So the outer two pins on the side with four pins is the coil. The reed switch will be straight, so a pin from one end mates with the one on the other end that lines up with it.

Below is a pic of one I have that I just tested for pin out. The coil resistance on mine measures 713 ohms.

Pulling it would be the best way to test it, but you can test it in circuit if need be.

If the coil resistance is close to the one I have, and you find that yours is indeed bad, I could send you this one if you are in the USA.
