Thank you. It might be better to post the actual image here, since many, including myself, refrain from clicking links to external content in posts and emails. The site hosting your image states that it is temporarily hosted and could disappear soon. However, the way you did it is better than not doing it at all.

I use the Chrome browser app Disconnect.
Allows you to block any tracking site, but takes a deft touch or you'll lose content you might want.
Currently blocking 18 sites on this page alone.
All I get are audio related ads.
That's without blocking any Google related trackers 'cause blocking them tends to screw up other functions.

I didn't feel like slogging through this whole thread, so I may be repeating something.
Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin added to Firefox results in zero ads here on AK.
EDIT: Actually, uBlock Origin alone seems to block all ads, on Chrome as well as Firefox.
ANOTHER EDIT: I am using Linux Mint on a PC.

I get that crap too.I get the russian/czech/asian bride ads too -

Hey you guy's you should see my email, the one I use to sign up on sites. Never sign up for the site called Neighbors.com, It was supposed to be like CL where people post stuff locally and a massage board for your neighborhood. I think they sell your email, because as soon as I signed up I get hit with 15+ emails a day. Everything under the sun I get hit with, home loans, weed, mail order brides, eye glasses and on and on. At least they don't do what google does because these have know idea about me with the majority of emails, they are barking up the wrong tree.

well I own 2 machines that behave the same, a win764 pro and a win10 home. This one is my devp machine and is 7-64 pro
I have FF ONLY on them. Never use IE, Edge or Chrome (there may be others out there but FF is the most robust)
Both machines are essentially the same basic kernel as we all know that 7 64 pro is merely 10 degraded (for only a $150 charge!)
I have content blocking set to strict, I have popups blocked, I have everything in the FF security tab disabled with no exceptions, I clear history, I use a norton PW mgr and I use some version of norton internet safety with its safe web etc blocked and most importantly, I never ever ever surf as admin/root. I also do not use facebook, twitter, pinterest or any social media.
From the screens posted, I have never seen that format so some combo of whatever I have turned on, takes care of it. Of course I cannot visit many news pages as they detect I have 'an' adblocker installed - so Eff em. I have no 3rd party - i.e. not part of FF - ad blocker installed.
Plus I got a whole bunch of crap blocked at the router, do ident connects only and I peruse my unsolicited OUTBOUND connections to see what appliance in the house is spying (you would be surprised what your flat screen TV is saying about you - never ever ever surf using a tv web browser) (and someone tell me why combo printers need microphones in them?)
and of course I use VPNs everywhere cuz of my employer.
Oddly, my govt computer is NOT as stingy. Paranoid I guess.

The CEO (formerly of Firefox/Mozilla, got run out) is also on the record as anti-LGBTQ and has put his money where his mouth is. I have many friends who identify and don't want him getting a cent from me.
IMO seeing the disgustingly biased political propaganda in AK is like somebody wrote gross graffiti in MY bathroom.

Correct, and I find it funny we are seeing members in a panic over adds. I got adblockers on my computers but nothing on my phone. The computers only shows the site sponsor adds, and I really never notice them or even concern myself. I don't even notice or look at any adds on my phone even though nothing is blocked.
The only adds that bother me is when you go to sites and they have a hundred of them all trying to load on the page. When they effect page loading and stop you from trying to read what you went there for, then I have a problem.
This site needs revenue and adds provide that for them to allow them not to charge every member to be here. Adds are an integral part of the internet and hardly anywhere we go on it has add free viewing. They are also directed at the browsers account activity of the user and what they search.

I don't know, I signed up on Neighbors because another member here mentioned it as a resource like CL. That was a big mistake, they asked for too much info to sign up including my address, I should not have given them that much and stopped signing up. I even was starting to get invites in the mail for get togethers lol. But instantly after signing up I was getting spammed to death on that email.
BTW, I guess it was around two years ago now we where getting video adds, and these adds would move you to the bottom or top of the page and automatically start the vid. Well my computer is hooked up to a system that the volume is set fairly loud. Normally this is not a problem because normal vids have volume controls. However these adds did not and they would blast my system and I had no control.
Well that pushed me to get add blocker and from then on my pages don't glitch around, I see no google adds and I'm not blowing my system up.

I don't mind ads sold by AK to stereo- and audio-related advertisers, even though I pay for a membership. "Native ads" if you will. It's hard, time-consuming, and expensive running a site like this, and I bet membership fees alone don't cover the overhead.
What I definitely do mind is being tracked.
I haven't been seeing all these political and non-audio ads everybody is describing, but it sounds like they are coming from outside of AK. I would be worried about them dropping something on my machine and tracking me all over the web.
I try to block trackers, not advertisers. My attitude is it's up to me to secure my machine, not somebody else.
What I definitely do mind is being tracked.
