I'm happy to report that I have not seen any divisive, political ads for the past week or two. I did get one browser take-over attempt but that was the only one I've seen lately.

I'm happy that we've at least gotten that one at bay.

I can't even just check AK to see what's new without the crap popping up. Very frustrating!!!

There was a significant attack at the end of last month, we've pushed out some extra security to address - have things improved?

Don't know if the cause of this is related to ads, I'm guessing it is. fyi, I'm using Safari, desk top, and have tried different browsers like Google, Bing and Duck Duck, and the same thing happens. I've cleared cache/cookies and history, I've deleted this website and reinstalled it in favorites and nothing helped. I do not have this problem on any of the other websites like AG, AA or SH.

Problem is...I'm logged in>click on a forum>...if I go right back to the forum list, usually no problem. I swipe right or click the back button and it goes back to the forum list 'usually'. If I spend a short while on said forum, like to reply or if I get up to do something for even just a few minutes, when I come back, I have to click or swipe many, many times to get back to the Forum list. I clicked on the back button and held it and found out this is what I'm dealing with. I was in the Marantz forum, clicked on the 4300 thread, left the room for a few minutes, came back to this. (happens on any forum, not just Marantz).

Any ideas or help?

This is very likely not related to advertising. I can't imagine what would be causing this sort of behaviour when coming from the ads, but if you wanted to test it you could temporarily enable an Ad Blocker which would isolate if it is a navigation issue or something to do with the advertising system.

For a couple of weeks now, I've been seeing ads from Planned Parenthood begging for donations. It was especially bad the last week of June, appearing at both the top and bottom of many pages and at least the top or bottom of virtually every page.

It's a lot less since the beginning of July, but not completely gone.

We put some general blocks around that category, though ads are different for every person. Is anyone else seeing a real rash of these?
