What kind of a device is it that you're using in that screengrab?
recently and only on AK, a window takes over wanting me to install the latest Flash Player.
Reading the fine print, it advises me that it will also ask me to install any number of other stuff:

My only workaround is to close AK and come back. I don't trust this site that wants to put other stuff into my machine!
Also, recently I'll leave AK up and when I retrain, there will be a note that there was a problem with the site and Safari had to reload it.
As said, I have like 8 sites always up and only AK has these problems!
Also, lately, as a couple posts up it was reported: the back button requires many stokes to get out of something I was reading-very frustrating!!

I've been getting a lot of the "winner!" popup hijacks lately, and deal with them by bringing up browsing "history" and clicking the entry prior to the hijack.

As pfcs49 reported in post #252, I've been getting the same "redirect" for the last week almost every day. It's not just a pop up, it redirects to a new page. I delete the page and get back on AK and then it's ok for the rest of the session. As noted, it only happens when I'm logged on to this site.

It continues to take over my browser on AK. It was in charge this AM!
I'm no geek, but it seems that Adobe is just part of three? other programs unrelated to Adobe that it wants to load. Very frustrating, almost as bad as all these f'ing robo-calls I'm getting!

The legitimate Adobe Flash Player page will ask if you want to load a McAfee product. This is optional and you can uncheck the box and not load it, unless you really want it. What some are getting is a false flash player, which will load malware.
I think you're right. Can't remember exactly, but one of the ones it wanted to load was something that would speed up my MacOS. Sure seems shady. Problem is, this bug persists and comes back repeatedly!

I get the Adobe Player update message too - all the time here.
Sometimes I leave Safari browser running when I head to bed and in the morning I found this in one tabbed window -
Obviously NOT the true Adobe domain.
I think the Ak ads rotate and one of the sponsers must be pushing the adware.
I tried to find out more and got this message.
Understand I use Safari web browser on a Mac Pro running Mojave 10.14.6 and never had a McAfee subscription.
Note the URL in the browser - (I know that the Palau domain - well known for scammer websites)
Note this seems to ONLY happen on AK ...

I don't know for sure what is going on and it does not happen every time but this website may be hacked or something as I keep getting a message that adobe flash is out of date and needs to be updated
but it is not from adobe..this warning pops up over and over..(in a new tab)
this keeps happening and I have gotten 2 virus/malware warning messages that are scams trying to re-direct you somewhere else to rip me off....I talked to AppleCare and this is not an Issue with safari, it is related to this website..it has not happened anywhere but here....

First off, my apologies for my tardiness. I have been somewhat preoccupied this last two weeks. My brother in law had a heart attach and the doctors put him in a medically induced coma and lowered his body temperature. After a couple days they brought him back slowly. They put in two stints and a defibrillator. It has been a roller coaster.

Has it been consistent for any of you? We haven't yet been able to replicate this, but did turn up some security features when we saw the reports. Will be helpful to know if you guys are still seeing it, if you have been seeint it for a while, and what kind of frequency it comes in at.
