Note 8 user, and no such re-direct using Firefox. Fired up Chrome and did not get any re-directs on that either.

This is the best way to report this.
These are malicious ads that are served via AK's advertising engine.
Nothing can be done about it other than report it to that thread.

I get the same thing yesterday and today. I no longer access AK from my phone. I have an S10 running android and my operating system is up to date.
As soon as I go to AK from my phone I get forwarded to a lucky something URL and fill out this Google form and win money, and you can't reverse out of it.

I started getting a redirect last night (11/26/19) only on AK stating "Congratulations LG user, you've won"
I got the same URL redirect.
Again, same issue here, I tried flushing all my browsing history keeping nothing, I even deleted bookmarks. Tried directly typing in the URL for AK and got the same irritating redirect for which there was no backing out of.
Must be cool to anomynously irritate people.

Just an FYI Doug. We've had a rash of folks yesterday and today get the "Congratulations, You've Won" spam redirects on their phone.

Okay, this annoyance has me on the verge of signing off, for good:
This started about a month or two ago. Some (not all) top banner ads are brought to the forefront (even though they appear to be behind menu selections) resulting in the ad being activated (pop up page) when menu item is selected. This only happens on AK.
Are any other members experiencing this?

It would be nice if AK could offer a completely ad-free experience. I'm sure many of us subscribers would be happy to pay another $5-$10 a year for 0 ads. I would estimate that the additional $ amount should easily offset any revenue lost by forced ads.

OK - For the above, basically there was a very aggressive attack during Thanksgiving weekend. Black Friday creates an insanely high demand for Advertising, and the bad actors come out in force. We were fighting this in the back end across the board, and I apologize for not jumping in for an update. This one was specifically worse than we usually see...
We will continue to monitor, and have added more protections. It is an arms race all the time, much like Forum spam works. Your anti-spam tools get better, the spammers get better, your anti-spam tools get better, the spammers get better and so on.
Yikes... this is no good. Is anyone else having this issue? I'm a bit confused as to why it is happening, so it would be really helpful to communicate with you directly on it. Would you mind shooting an email to help@advally.com so we could debug directly? If anyone else is having the same issue let us know.

This issue as described on December 4th has really ramped up. The Amazon ads are the worst. It seems to only be (so far) using the Chrome browser on my Samsung S10 and only on AK (I need to test the Samsung browser more but really don't like using it, as it is inferior to Chrome).
Any advice is appreciated. My phone is clean. As you know with modern phones, everything is always up to date.
That said, here is the Chrome version:
@Grumpy please consider offering a 100% ad free experience for a nominal annual fee.
This latest round of issues as described above in my previous text has taken most all the enjoyment out of being here.

Hey - I'm going to send you a debugging tool and reach out directly to figure this one out. We had thought we beat it, but clearly not. What we can do is track down the specific network givign this ad and we'll block the whole network, as it isn't worth it to have a bad User Experience.

I think we have a solution - working on it right now. We need to get permission from the Owner to make the change, but it should completely get rid of this. We have now replicated the issue and tracked down what is causing it. Stay tuned for a solution...
