RIP Ted Kennedy

RIP Mr. Kennedy.

As a teenager, I was sitting on the Capitol steps back in 1987 and Senator Kennedy walked right past me. I made a point to say, "Hello, Mr. Kennedy!" He kept walking without a hitch and just waved in acknowledgement and never looked back. For some odd reason, I thought that was sort of cool.

"You see things; and you say, 'Why?' But I dream things that never were; and I say, 'Why not?'"-- George Bernard Shaw quote that was paraphrased by Ted Kennedy in an eulogy for his brother Robert.

The brothers are gone, and an Era passes!

He spent his whole life passionately fighting for the things he believed in.

We should all hope others will say the same of us when we have passed.

Rest in peace, sir. It was quite a life.

nothing I could add to ehoove and Sandy G both..an era which began for me,as a ten year old, in November 1963 comes to a close...what a rare group of brothers, who I firmly believe were patriots all...happy trails, and thanks

agree with him or not, the man dedicated his life to working for what he believed in. i'm not sure you can ask more than that from anyone, regardless of their political views.

RIP

Was just reading (again) about that July 1969 incident a few days ago. Something
that could have happened to anyone of us I believe. Let him who is without
sin throw the first stone...

Rest in Peace, senator Kennedy!
