Mine will be the 48th. post and all of them were civilized. Some folks were Kennedy fans, some weren't but all were civil and respectful. I can't say the same for a similar room which disrespected the Senator first thing this morning.
I wrote a terse resignation from that room, not because they might disagree with my sentiments but for the crude language used and the lack of respect shown a man not four hours dead.
Freedom of speech gives us the right to say anything that comes into our minds but it also allows us the choice to temper that right with some self-control and feelings for those who might disagree.
Reading your responses to this subject tends to make me feel much more at home among folks who go the extra mile to try not to offend others.
