If these are the 1980's vintage 4B with dual 8" woofers:
From Infinity Classics Reference Series Page
Introduced: A: 1982
Dimensions: RS 4: 84 x 34 x 25 cm
Bass: RS 4: 2 x 20 cm
Mids: 1 x Polydome
Highs: 1 x EMIT
Suggested for amplifiers with: RS 4: 40-150 Watts per channel
Frequency range: RS 4: 40 Hz - 32 kHz
Crossover frequencies: 600 Hz, 4000 Hz
Suggested price (pair): RS 4: 897 $
I bought a set of these new in about 1987 and I really loved them, but lost them in 1989 in a divorce. If not for that, I'd probably still have them today. I replaced them with a set of RS-IIIb's, the next bigger brother of the 4B in the same line, which I DO still have. For the right price, they are an excellent speaker IMNSHO, with tight bass, exteneded highs, and excellent imaging. Just remember, like all Infinity's of this vintage, these things like plenty of clean, high-current power to sound their best.
