How do you compare the sound the the "G" to the X0X0 or XX1 series receivers?

the g 9000db is a power house for sure but X0X0 or XX1 have a more tube like sound to me were the g 9000db plays everthing with out braking a sweat the sansui g 9000db to me sounds clearer and has more head room

I'm in need of recapping the Dolby FM board I believe. I gotta get back in touch with Echowars on diagnosing that thing. Everything works fine but I have no FM sound....just a rather odd noise like it wants to play radio but doesn't. Oh well....I don't listen to radio, anyway.

Mine's not real wood veneer....it's vinyl and says so right on the side of it. Hmmm...
