You will be very very lucky if they are even made any more, there might be a modern equivalent, but I don't know what that is. If the problem with yours is scratchiness, investigate the possibility of cleaning the one you have - with a proper cleaner made for this specific job. And the scratchiness may not even be the control itself - it could be leaky capacitors.

If you are unlucky, you may be forced to wait for a unit being 'parted out' due possibly to the amplifier being damaged in shipping or another reason.

I don't have real speakers... I'm still looking for a good vintage pair of speakers to be matched to my 707. By now, it's playing through a pair of KEF Q7 that I bought 10 years ago or so. As a source I'm using hirez digital audio and a Schiit DAC; mainly Jazz.
I have some records from the 70's in mint condition but my TT is gone a while ago... Got tired of me actually
What can I say? It's good. It's damn good. A few friends, kind of geeky wealthy people that don't mind spending a lot of money in these well marketed hi-end McIntosh together with these Bang & Olufsen that are anything else but speakers, simply don't believe in their ears...
Well, my acoustics helps a lot as I have a big enough living room and brick walls so, again, it's damn good for me.

Regarding the volume control.
Disassemble and clean / recondition the one you have.
I have a 607dr and there are some annoying engineering decisions that make servicing the controls a bit harder than it should be. The more deeply seated, more difficult to access, selector sliders cause a lot of sound problems once they get dirty.
The volume controls in front are easy to access and remove. Here is how Kale does it... (I followed his example and it was very much worth the effort.)
The retaining ring will need to be replaced with a new one.
Clean away all the brown stuff, reassemble, and it will be like new.
Disassemble and clean / recondition the one you have.
I have a 607dr and there are some annoying engineering decisions that make servicing the controls a bit harder than it should be. The more deeply seated, more difficult to access, selector sliders cause a lot of sound problems once they get dirty.

Absolutely - you can modify just about any integrated amp to do this. It all depends if he's keen to mod his Sansui in this way
