Hi,
I am in the process of restoring my G-901DB. I had it recapped, but it will not power up. The protection circuit is preventing it from cycling on. Where can I get a troubleshooting guide for the F-2809 board / the test pin outs with expected values?

As many my threads remained unfinished (due to lack of free time) is time to bring this G topic to an end.
At one point I had 3 G-901 (pity that I did not took photos of that), and what's interesting is that, according to serial numbers, they are all been produced the same day or another. The first two had found new owners last year, and this, last one, goes to my cousin who patiently waits for him for several years.
Once, while I had time and restored Sony STR-V7, I play a bit with the cleansing of the switches,and after that,no more “just Deoxit “ for me…disassembly, cleaning, lubrication is the only solution for a long period. It is difficult to imagine how this old equipment even works when you see all the dirt.
Anyway, here are some pictures, maybe someone finds interesting
some type of switch needs a special tool

and several PCB randomly
