I don't think i told this story before but my friends and I basically tricked a bunch of people in High School who never even heard Another Brick in the Wall pt 2 to make it the class song. Some of whom got very upset when they heard the lyrics of not needing no education. I was like what's done is done democracy rules dude.
At the ceremony the band is supposed to play the song. Instead they "rebelled" and played the Friends tv show theme song. I was like wtf but then i thought it was funny. Very lame rebellion.

That "...Tone Controls Eugene..." thread was, IIRC, started by @olson_jr some years back, but I thought it survived the purge re: The Great AK Server Migration of a few years back. I tried searching on the keyword "Eugene" - got nuthin'. Searched on keywords "Tone Control" -- got nuthin'. Searched on threads by olson_jr -- a few came up, but not the "Eugene" deal that was in the Music Forum(s).

Maybe it went up in smoke @ the purge, maybe olson_jr deleted it, maybe.... etc.

So looks like y'all got a NEW ALL THINGS FLOYD THREAD.

Yeah the thread only vanished recently, like maybe a couple or three months ago. I did some searching myself when Gnome and Oz brought up the fact that it was missing. I couldn't find it either.
