There are moments of almost silence, Not because of dead air but this MAN and THE JOURNEY was a concept. Teatime for instance, the band actually sits at a table on stage and has tea! Listen and you can hear the spoons tink the tea cups.

David Gilmour live at Gdansk is an absolute must have. Various versions.
I recommend one of the more deluxe (with DVD)
My favorite version of Echoes.
An all star band as well. Most notably Richard Wright (one of his last concerts) & Phil Manzanera

A very one sided diatribe by Waters.
Yes Animals was his concept and his vocals fit the songs.
As far as instrumentation goes Animals had David Gilmour all over it. Not only the fantastic lead guitar but also the bass guitar on 2/3 of the album.

Originally a radio broadcast.
The earlier unofficial releases varied in terms of fidelity as their source was the broadcast version.
Much later this was officially released using the pre-broadcast master tapes. The version listed below is far superior in every respect.

I thought it was worth posting because -if true - since he relented on the liner notes then The Animals 5.1 mix and A Stereo remix and likely a bunch of other goodies similar to The Wall and DSOTM will be released finally.
Also thought it was an interesting peak behind the curtain about how contentious even small details are between David And Roger. This has been going on for years. I guess. I mean one would assume they would release in order.
Sad really when looking at the pictures from the old days when they were friends.
