I was pretty sure about the 919, but wasn't so sure about the 2301. Beautiful! I've owned a few tu717s and 517s, but never the creme de la creme in the 919. Too bad I get **** reception where I live.

How do you like your Teac R2R? My dad left me his and I need to get it fully gone through before I operate it. It does turn on and all functions work but I have not played anything and want to wait and get it refurbished before I do.

I love it! I luckily have one of the few qualified technicians near me in Los Angeles (Adrian Audio) to do repairs and calibration when needed. I was also lucky enough to get one with very little wear on the heads.
