Does anyone have a counter weight for a SL-1200? Or even an idea of another that will fit on the square end of the tone arm? I picked the table up yesterday and didn’t look at it close enough.

That "counterweight" is an Ortofon accessory designed to go with the ultra light Ortofon cart/headshell combo on the tonearm. With the standard Technics counterweight which is heavier, that cartridge might not even come down out of the sky to be adjusted for VTF.

I had one of those silly Concorde ultra light carts. No normal arm in my entire TT collection had a light enough counterweight. Got rid of it.
