Looking for anyone out here considering selling their working Sony CDP-302ES CD Player. Getting harder to find units in working condition.

Thanks, NCislander

Had one many years ago and foolishly sold it. Would love to have it back. Good luck on your search.

I appreciate that Duane. I am finding very few units available. Still searching. Thought I would put the word out on the Forum.

If you find one, here's a couple of yt videos showing common fault repairs for the CDP-302. Being a 40 year old player, there will be problems.

Yes thanks. I have the links bookmarked for when the time comes.

Mark. There is a forum on AK that is used for members to buy and sell. it's called Bartertown. You have to be a member to utilize it, but that just $25. You might get more exposure for your search than this one. I hope you're able to find one.

I'm on the fence with it. Though as much as I use this forum for my earlier projects, Pioneer SX-880, Pioneer SX-535, KLH Model 17's, Advent A4's. This forum has been great. I repaired each unit and they perform really nice. I probably should. -Thanks

Out of curiosity what's special about this particular model vs. other players of that era?

The Sony BU-1 Tray Assembly, heavy duty. Me personally I love the aesthetics of this CD Unit. This same appeal for my stereo components. I also have been restoring my CD collection from decades ago.
