The picture is too small and too low resolution to know for sure- but those look like piezo horn mids and tweeters.

That might be some sort of manufacturer's stamp that came on the particle board/MDF.

Never considered that.
A decent builder would have removed it or not used that section if it was a manufacturer stamp.

They are asking $60 firm for the pair, they are over an hour from me that is part of the reason why I am going to pass. When I first saw them I thought they may be something worth looking at but the owner doesn't know anything about them and the other pictures they sent are fuzzy. I am also limited on space and need to be some what selective, i have 7 pair of speakers in my listening room which is about 12x12. I am still looking to upgrade and look for things I want but these aren't going to make my list.
