Oh, no. Right thread. Those Lola Powerman Moneygoround speakers (1970 model) would be a perfect match for McIntosh (especially 1970 vintage). Great club speakers, too; they walk like a woman and talk like a man.

In that case, those speakers suck.

My vote would be either the Legacy Focus SE or junior brother Signature SE. Two of the finest speakers I've ever heard.

If you need a drink then its dampening factor. If it the ability of the amp to control the cone its damping factor or DF. Don't worry I made the same mistake years ago, too and I was politely corrected on this site.

You posting “damping factor” has become so predictable that we’ve made it a drinking game. It’s your “Kool Aid”, not mine.

Pretty much any of the high efficiency compression driver/horn setups (like Klipsch, JBL, Altec, as well as any reasonably well modded versions of the same). Mac always matched up great with that stuff and made me a fan of the brand.

I've heard people say the exact same but just substituting "Legacy Focus" etc and that speaks to the quality of Mac amps in the first place. They seem to drive just about anything
