What's an appropriate street value for a pair of EPI 100 speakers that need to be re-foamed? Thx.

Not much, Generally they are curb finds, tag sale, thrift store types. Not that they can't sound good, in working order.

I'd be looking to pay $50, maybe more if you've actually got a need for them.
EPI doesn't have the name recognition of the bigger manufacturers.

If you can actually find 100Vs for $20/pair, that's a real bargain considering the performance they are capable of. And refoaming them should be very easy, there's not even a gasket to worry about.

Which is good for us folks who have or have had a pair of the 100's picked up on the cheap. They sound really good and I wouldn't hesitate to snatch up a pair if readily available and priced right

EPI 100s are no longer cheap and plentiful. $100 is a fair price for a set of 100V or 100W that need refoaming.

And thanks to AK, they have brand recognition, depending on locale. I have a pair of the wood veneered M100, and I would expect to get 2 bills minimum for them if I let them go.

Okay, but I'm assuming yours are oiled, recapped and refoamed. That certainly should be reflected in the price.
