Anyone heard of or own LANPOO LP-42 bookshelf speakers

Cheap, Chinese and will need a subwoofer. May not even have a crossover, may just be a single cap in there. Drivers look decent. Sold on Slamazon...

Does have good ratings for what it is.

That's about as vague a thread heading as it gets.
JMO but a title with Lanpoo in the header might catch the eye of someone who has experience with them. Or better yet Lanpoo LP-42

But even so it appears a few wandered in anyways.
The writer of the link 888 posted seemed to be impressed with them.

My bad. I meant to say "does anyone own or heard" of the LONPOO LP-42 speakers. I picked up a pair on Amazon a few months ago and they don't suck. I'm going to replace the cheap crummy cap, stuff the rear port and re-line the inside with polyfil. I think they are gone from Amazon now. LONPOO makes really cheap boomboxes and DVD players. They also have a powered pair now LP-42P, but I can't locate them online. Probably a good thing!!! I got the passive pair for $40.00 new, so who cares!!! Nothing to lose!!!!

Alteration can get to the point where you could've just built your own speakers.
