Spring Twang

Thought I'd bring my heavy duty popup, which I brought last time and never put up because the weather turned out to be gorgeous. I think I'll forego the Altecs, it will be better when we know the weather is OK. Maybe I can get the sound tweaked in the meantime. We can still talk woofers (take note, Battradio and Jay) and maybe I'll come home with something.

I'll bring a pair of smaller speakers, maybe the Atlantics or I also have Klipsch kg4.2's, Infinity Qb's (oh wait those are mounted 7 ft. up on the walls at the Garage Mahal so maybe not).

Yeah, these ****ing weathermen around here almost make me feel safe if they say it's going to be the apocalypse. You get all set for the ****, then end up with a bluebird day. Oh well, we shall play it by ear, but if it does get really bad, we might have to smash into the crawl space and basement. Hopefully I'll get positioned by one of the younger guys wives.:smoke: Really though, I don't think these meteorologist have much of an idea of what's going to happen tonight, much less a couple days from now.
(Present company excluded of course)

Yup, just listen to weather on day in question, make decision then.:scratch2:

I'll bring some XLR cables, 1/4" to RCA etc..

Think I'll try to pack my gear into plastic totes. Then just put the covers on if it rains.

Scotch

Anyone see something they might like?

Yes. I also see nothing I think I would NOT like.

I usually don't go for the smokey ones, but all the other categories are always worth a sip. :thmbsp:

I hoped to expand Tox's Brandy inventory over the winter, which did not happen due to equipment still under development, but I have some of that last offering left which I'll bring.

Man, you guys are killing me. I wish I could make it. Might have to do a low budget St. Louis version of this event.

Hmm, then I'll bring my active crossover, just for giggles. XLR connectors.

butts are looking good:drool::yes: pulled pork on sweet rolls, sauce, onions, and hot pickles.I'm thinking maybe we could use slaw or cheesy potatoes or potato salad? I have a popup and a 100ft 10ga ext cord(and a 12ga too)I'm bringing.

Deffly not bringing the big Altecs guys, they would be just too much of a hassle if it rained in transit or there. Sorry to get everyone lit up.

Dude! I just pulled up some very fresh green onions, how bout I bring some chopped ones for the samiches.

Maybe apple pie? :scratch2: Or, I could do some of that wilted cole slaw with the vinegary dressing (no mayo).

I'm bringing my usual cheesy baked tater salad and some BBQ beans.

I still got an artery left to clog!

Tyella and I are planning on settin up our tents out in the field unless the weather is ridiculous. In which case we will decide whether to sleep under the kitchen table with the dawgs, or head on home.

Jay, if we stay over, maybe we'll bring some breakfast along. Whaddya all like for breakfast?

If it storms, the dogs will be in my bed full of xanax, so there will be plenty of room inside. I'll grab some bacon and eggs when I go to the store today, just in case that artery doesn't get completely blocked.

Could you shoot a pic of your medicine cabinet, I had a tough month at work and already ate all my pain killers for the month. That Scotch would work, but it wouldn't end well.:D

Dude! That would get me kicked outta the house. I'm lucky to not need anything, the other members, no so much.

After finding some had food allergies last Twang- I have omitted the Herb Ox sodium free chicken bouillon. So there is no chicken in the pulled pork. I WILL add some to the plastic squeeze bottle sauce on the side.So if you have a chicken allergy- don't add extra sauce:nono:!

Any cigar guys in the group? If the weather is decent I wouldn't mind burning one in the afternoon. I can bring some extras if anyone cares to partake.

- Woody

Looks like a decent morning weather wise. Chance of rain after noon.
