Starting a 400 restoration...thoughts??

So I know this post is dormant but I thought I would give a huge thanks to Larry and everyone else on the Fisher forum for helping me restore my Fisher 400 last September, I have been running it and playing it like crazy for the past year. I just finished the project by retubing and making a new case out of African Mahogany. Enjoy the pics!

Thanks for the compliment, I am very pleased with the result. I work for a custom cabinet manufacturer and I was doing a sale right about the time I was buying materials for this project. I was trying to convince a client to get a bar top made out of african mahogany. She went with walnut instead but I sold myself on going mahogany on my Fisher cabinet! The solid stock is cheaper than walnut, more consistent and has more depth than walnut IMO. I wanted to stay original to Fisher specs with the cab but I am now glad I didn't.
The whole case is 3/4" with mahogany veneer on the outside and inside. Tung oil finish. Mahogany feet and SS screening. The finished amp weighs over 50 pounds...I have a mint kx100 that is begging for the same treatment as this 400....
