I wish I knew a way to let you know how to give the replacement wand a satin finish like the whacked item used to be...
What metal is the replacement - Polished aluminium/stainless or chromed steel?
Either way, it's only a cosmetic thing, not distracting of your superb workmanship.
FWIW, if it's aluminium, I often anodise this metal and a 'satin' finish could sometimes be done with aluminium.
I'll post an example of what I once did with a wand replacement for a c/f Micro arm after I ran out of headshells for it.

As to the finish on the arm, I think you can achieve that with bead blasting but that, of course, would require disassembly.
Have you got the alignment dialed in yet?
