Teac PD-301 "No Disc"

I just fired up my Teac PD-301 disc player after a number of months. Popped in a disc and got a no disc error. Now I can't even eject the disc. Is there a work around other than opening the thing up to retrieve the disc?

Late reply, but just saw this. If the tray is ar least trying to open, it probably can be helped by pulling on it if you can grab it with something, as I've had prior experience with similar problem a time or 2.
Both my sony cd players are giving me fits not reading discs currently.

Sounds like the drive belt needs replacing, normally the issue if the tray won't eject. On certain players, a loose belt also causes it to not read the disc.
You can attempt manually prying on the tray door during the "open" sequence, but you risk damaging the look of the door exterior surface.

Thanks, but there is no tray. It's a slot.
